Reynald Ricard and Martial Vivot crossed paths in Manhattan after 20+ years each in New York.

With Reynald’s mastery of color and modern French hairdressing, and Martial’s renowned expertise in men’s grooming, the idea of a House of Style in West Palm Beach emerged naturally.

They built it alongside longtime friends, trusted artists and business partner — Romain, Paul, and Jérôme — who had worked beside them for years. Five artists at the opening, one house, one standard — ten today.

We are not going to name ourselves the best — that depends on what your hair needs, and you should be the judge. What we can tell you is what we have built. Our stylists are Paris-trained and built the brand in New York, and the team has practiced our balayage technique for over twenty years between Paris, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. We work in our own house at 3008 S Dixie Hwy, open Tuesday through Saturday, with a separate, private men’s grooming room in partnership with Martial Vivot’s standard.

We also publish every price we charge — balayage $500, a women’s haircut $200, men’s haircuts from $140, a keratin smoothing treatment $350 — on the pricing page, and the consultation is free and runs about 15 minutes. Balayage is a freehand hair-painting technique developed in Paris in the 1970s. Color is hand-painted onto the surface of the hair, with the formula mixed to your hair — so highlights look soft, sun-kissed, and grow out without a hard regrowth line. The Red Market team has practiced it for over twenty years between Paris, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes — walk-ins by availability. If a chair is free when you arrive, we will take you. Booking online is still the surest way to get the time you want, and color work needs to be booked ahead because balayage and full color run two to three hours.
